The maintenance of SLAs, and therefore the cost of quality and quantity of service, is a value that will become increasingly important in the process of industrialization of data centers and their evolution in commodities (aka CLOUD computing).
LBL Traffic Monetizer is the answer to the need for continuous and objective measurement to prevent disruption caused by the changeability of the initial conditions, such as an increase in activities and therefore a re-adjustment of the budgets for the maintenance of initially established service levels..
LBL S.A.A.I. condenses, in a single solution, these measurement needs in an independently way from the technologies used, such as different types of virtualization, different architectural layers, storage, physical machines, leaving a large architectural freedom to the evolution of the data center.

The design model is based on five fundamental elements:
LBL Traffic Monetizer uses a relational database to historicize traffic statistics. The database and its manager can possibly be installed separately from the balancing service in order to consolidate traffic statistics from different nodes. The same analytical data coming from the balancing systems can be aggregated and analyzed differently and simultaneously to meet the needs of applicative verification, networking, application’s use and SLAs compliance in intrusion and phishing analysis.
LBL Traffic Monetizer is able to collect time data on both system and application responses analyzing all the traffic phases, from the acquisition of the request to the connection phase to the service up to the detection of the last information sent by the service to the clients, measuring the response times of the individual services with split on the infrastructural layers and identifying all the elements of the chain, both infrastructural and applicative.
The analysis of the life cycle of the data allows the timely isolation of infrastructural anomalies at different levels, highlighting the areas of intervention for improving the usability of the services. Through the graphical interface it is possible to verify for each module the current profile, the status and to view the logfile. It is also possible to start or stop the form and notify the event via email (watchdog). This allows us to detect any anomalies, even applications, for an immediate corrective action.
The analysis of the data highlights not only the absolute performance of the applications, but also allows to separate the various phases of the service evolution into several elements, such as connection time, first response time and, in general, partial information crossing times , allowing a precise diagnosis of the problem. The refinement of the data collected with granularity at the nanosecond (billionth of a second), allows to carry out depth traffic tests also detecting the intermediate times of information travel through the architectural layers.
The analysis of the request and response (Response-Time) times sectioned in partial times (Lap-Time) allows a precise analysis for the identification of bottlenecks and lays the foundations for their solution.
The architecture allows the writing, consolidation and aggregation in real time of several million records per hour, providing the analysis and reporting systems for immediately usable views and data sets. LBL Traffic Monetizer comes with consolidation templates in source format from which it is possible to customize and adapt further interpretations of traffic data, ensuring flexibility of use and growth over time.
